Every room's TV runs on a system we built for Square. It greets you by name, in your language, a minute after check-in. Then it runs the lights, the curtains and dinner, all from the remote in your hand.

At check-out the TV erases your YouTube, Netflix and Google sign-ins by itself. A sign-out button works at any time during your stay.

Privacy
The system runs on the hotel's own server. Your name shows only to reception and the managers, never to housekeeping.
Safety
If the smoke detector in your room goes off, your TV shows it at once and every staff screen turns red. It is an extra alert on top of the building's fire alarm, never a replacement.
Double-cavity walls and double glazing hold heat in winter and keep it out in summer — and keep the city where it belongs, outside. Every window opens. Every surface your hand touches on the way in is brass.
