Step inside
Through the diamond door.
The reception desk and the chandelier above it — brass hammered by hand, every dimple its own.
How it was madeThree rooms. Same standard. Different scale.
Every room runs on the same logic — cotton linens, thermostatic showers, windows that open, and a TV that runs the room. Then we change the size.

Standard Room
A room that disappears around you. Twenty-five square metres, the city kept outside by double-cavity walls, and furniture a local workshop took a year to make.
View the room
Executive Suite
Fifty square metres, considered down to the corners. A jacuzzi behind a wall of privacy glass — frosted when you want it, clear when you don't.

Apartment Suite
Built for families and travellers who unpack. A king bedroom, a twin room for the children, and a living room large enough to host.
View the roomTwo settings. Two appetites.
An all-day room under twenty-four-foot ribbed glass, and a rooftop garden with the valley as its far wall.
Places. Not just amenities.
A pool on the roof, a spa, a gym and a lounge, all inside one address.

Pearl Pool Deck
A rooftop pool with the Kathmandu skyline as its long edge.

Spa
Salt-rock walls, a Buddha, an unhurried hour.

Health & Fitness
Kept quiet, kept clean, open to every guest.

Elite Club Lounge
A room to work, wait or sit with a drink.

For the occasions that matter.
A 7,000 ft² ballroom for weddings, two conference halls and a private boardroom. And a room planner that tells us, while you are still on the phone, whether your fourteen wedding rooms fit your dates.

A letter, three centuries of coins, and no shortcuts.
This hotel was first imagined in 2014. Every architect, engineer and craftsman on it was Nepali. The slate was carved in Patan; the prayer wheels took three months to make. The coins on the walls were gathered over three generations, the oldest from the early 1700s.
What guests say when we're not listening.
The staff at Square Hotel are incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is really excellent, morning and lunch, and the location is perfect - walking distance to lots of really cool restaurants, shops and tourist spots in Patan. Having stayed in many places in KTM, this was definitely my favourite.
I had a wonderful experience at The Square Hotel Kathmandu. The hotel is modern, very clean, and well located, offering both comfort and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the city. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive staff always ready to help.
A comfortable stay with clean rooms, friendly staff, and great service. I've been to Nepal and the Kathmandu valley many times, and this was definitely my favourite hotel experience.
